The benefits of ducted refrigerated reverse cycle heating and cooling system is its ability to reach a desired temperature, hot or cold through the entire home. Ducted reverse cycle systems are quiet and powerful, remove humidity and dust from the air and reach the temperatures desired in the home or office with minimal fuss. Ducted reverse cycle systems draw air from inside the building, heat or chill the air and push the air back into the room. This is very efficient as you are heating or cooling the inside air over and over again while not letting any outside air into the building. If it is the middle of summer and the mercury has hit 40 degrees, the ducted refrigerated system will lower the temperature inside to 17 degrees if required. Other types of cooling such as evaporative cooling are not nearly as efficient as refrigerated systems in their ability to cool. They increase humidity. Evaporative systems work by drawing air into the building from outside, the air touches pads full of water and the water takes some of the heat out of the air. The air is cooled by 5-7 degrees then blown into the building. Evaporative coolers blow air into the building but they don’t return the air back to the system, this increases the air pressure inside and reduces the cooling. This is resolved by opening a door or window to remove the excess pressure. Opening a door or window is the last thing you want to do on a hot day as heat re enters the building. Evaporative coolers generally cool the outside air by 7 degrees. This is not enough on those very hot days. Ducted refrigerated reverse cycle systems will heat or cool the air to what ever temperature you desire. Contact us now for a free quote and consultation on reverse cycle heating and cooling.
